About Devils Landing
Founded by veterans who believe the outdoors can heal what walls cannot.
How It Started
Devils Landing was founded in 2021 in North Maine by Rick Haskell (USMC) and Nick Savage (USMC). What started as a shared conviction - that the outdoors could do for others what it had done for them - grew into something much larger than two veterans and a trail.
The name comes from the land itself: a stretch of rugged Maine wilderness that feels both untamed and welcoming. The kind of place where you can breathe a little deeper, think a little clearer, and remember that you are part of something.
Today, Devils Landing continues to grow - not through numbers or metrics, but through the quiet, steady work of showing up for veterans who need a place to land.

Community Impact
A growing community of veterans finding connection through shared outdoor experiences. From fishing retreats to white water rafting, every gathering strengthens the bonds between those who have served.
What started with two Marines and a conviction has grown into something that touches lives across branches and generations of service. The impact is not measured in numbers - it is measured in the quiet moments when someone realizes they are not alone.
